2011 Jacksonville Light Parade

Another new adventure... A light parade.

A few years ago I went to this event at The Landing in Downtown Jacksonville. The Prop Club asked for a volunteer boat to represent the club. They even agreed to help pay for fuel.

So, we volunteered.

 At the end of the parade they always have fireworks. Great view from the boat to watch the light show!

So all-in-all, the parade was a ton of fun. Listening to the 200,000 people cheering when we went by, seeing all the boats lit up, and being with great friends, was just awesome.

And just think, next week we get to do it again at our home marina!
